Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy last night sensationally revealed that the club have a buy-back option in Harry Kane’s £100million move to Bayern Munich.
Kane ended a 19-year stay at Spurs when he moved to the Allianz Arena in the summer, and will make his Champions League debut for Bayern against Manchester United tonight.
But Levy has confirmed for the first time that he could re-sign Kane after inserting a buy-back clause when the England captain moved to the Bundesliga champions for £100million.
Speaking at a fans’ forum alongside manager Ange Postecoglou and new captain Son Heung-min last night, Levy said: ‘There is a buy-back clause.’
In a video message to Spurs fans after joining Bayern in August, Kane raised the prospect of rejoining the club by saying: ‘It’s not a goodbye, because you never know how things pan out in the future.’

Kane, 30, signed a four-year contract with Bayern last month.
He enjoyed a two-decade association with the club and was their top scorer for nine consecutive seasons, scoring more goals than anyone else for the side with 280.
Kane has settled into Bayern Munich life well, scoring four goals in five games as they sit second in the Bundesliga.
Ahead of their Champions League clash with Manchester United, he said: ‘I’ll keep an eye on Tottenham for the rest of my life.
‘I’m really happy to see the team playing the way they are and to see the fans happy is a great thing. They’ve got a massive game coming up [Arsenal on Sunday] so, for sure, I’ll see how they get on over the course of the season.’
Fans speculated that Kane might be motivated to return to his beloved London club to try and topple Alan Shearer from the summit of the Premier League’s all-time top scorer list.
Kane is 47 goals behind Shearer’s long-standing record of 260, a difference which would likely take at least two seasons to make up.
